Sensoji Shrine/Temple

Well, we just returned from a fabulous road trip to Tokyo.  It all started with a few days of traveling around with my best friend, Jenny.  We had so much fun!  The trip ended with a few days of alone time for Mike and I.  My mom so thoughtfully watched the kids while we had this mini vacation.

The Carp beat the Tokyo Giants 2 out of 3 games, and Mike did great the whole series.  He was even MVP the 1st game.  Go Mike!

Here are his stats for the 2 games he pitched in Tokyo for those of you who asked:

1st game: Came in during the 5th inning with guys on 1st & 2nd, no outs

1st guy struck out

2nd guy popped up to 2nd

3rd guy grounded out to 1st

6th inning:

1st guy hit a single

2nd guy bunted him over & was out at 1st

3rd guy grounded out to 1st

4th guy struck out

3rd game: Came in during the 6th inning with a guy on 1st and 1 out

Guy on 1st tried to steal and catcher threw him out

Next guy grounded out to 2nd

7th inning:

1st guy lined out to 2nd

2nd guy grounded out to shortstop

3rd guy flew out to center
